Hello forum. This thread will demonstrate the use of simple BBcode, already simplified in the Forumotion tabs you will see when you post any thread. Typically these "tabs or buttons" are right above the text form.
If you have a youtube URL and would like to embed the video, click on this button
. It will drop down the following bar,
. Then simply copy and paste the video's URL into the form and click "Ok" It will generate the code for you automatically and condensed for ease of reading!
If you have a Image that is already on the internet, but you want to link here. Click this icon,
It will drop down a similar bar to the video embedding. You submit the pic's URL into the form and click "Ok". Code will be generated at the bottom line of your post! You may use this method to also post your own images from facebook, photobucket, ...etc.
Now, posting a picture from your own PC or camera is slightly different. Your picture will be hosted on a free service known as ServIMG, which is automatically included with this forum software. To begin. Click on the pic icon with the floppy disc. It will drop down a bar by ServIMG. Follow the steps, click browse, then your desired size. Once squared click "Host It!" please wait anywhere from a few seconds to almost a minute. The bar will refresh automatically and bring up embedding links. Simply click on the link you want, rightclick, copy. Then paste in the desired location in your thread. To dismiss the upload bar, do not click the "Upload" button. Instead, click the original icon with the photo and floppy disc for it to dismiss.
